It’s hard to believe 2010 is almost over and when we look back on this phenomenal year filled with amazing releases and having worked with some of the best talent in the biz, King Street Sounds, Nite Grooves, and Street King’s comes out with its own retrospective comp for the year. 2010 was a year where we extended our reach to the broad spectrum of electronic music ranging from Deep & Soulful House, to Electro, Progressive, Nu Disco and beyond. This current compilation, Finest NY House 2010, kicks off with “Fade Away” by P’taah featuring Tiombe Lockhart, a future jazzy piece remixed by Silver City, who really take us into a funky Nu Disco dimension. Other Deep/Soulful remixers include Danny Krivit, Louie Vega, Mr.V, Sean McCabe, Groove Assassin, Spencer Parker, Aki Bergen, Frankie Feliciano, Alix Alvarez and Kiko Navarro. This compilation revisits hits from Dennis Ferrer, Ananda Project, DJ Roland Clark presents Urban Soul, Barbara Tucker, and jOHNNYDANGEROUs.
